B2S Must Haves
- A Cricut- I love my Cricut so much. It's an electronic die cutting machine that will save you soooo much time when wanting to cut things out for bulletin boards. I also use it to make things for my little darlings.
- A thoughtfully planned out classroom- I can't stress this enough. You want to make sure that everything had a place before school starts. Once the craziness of the school year happens, you won't have time to organize things. If it already had a place, all you have to do it maintain.

I love the Cricut too! Congrats to your hubby for recording his first song. I hope it is the first of many!!
ReplyDeleteI hope so too!
DeleteI'm so jealous your room is set up and ready to go. But I'm NOT jealous that you're back at school tomorrow. Yikes! I have two weeks to go and I'm going to savor every moment. I hope you have a great school year. I'm your newest follower.:)

Thanks for following. Yes, I am not looking forward to going back tomorrow. I know this school year is going to fly by. Hopefully since I'll be blogging now, it will be a lot funner to share things that I do.
DeleteI love you blog--especially your header. Did you make it yourself? I became one of your newest followers--I would love to have you come by and visit my blog.

Hi Jennifer! We found your blog through Farley's Linky Party! I love music and always have a song in my head. Although I can't sing and wish I could (jealous of your husband lol). That is so exciting that he has recorded his first song! I do not go back until next week, but attended a Summer Academy (district staff development) last week and am working with my new principals this week. So it feels like I am already back. I love the world of teaching but love breaks also.
ReplyDeleteGlad we found your blog! Good luck with your school year and blogging! :)

I wish I could sing as well. My husband sings all the time and I NEVER sing. He's never heard me sing in his life. If someone were to catch me singing, I'd be mortified!! I only sing in the car or when I'm home alone.
DeleteYay! I love new bloggers!! :) I'm a new follower! I don't have a cricut but I know a lot of people who love them. Where do you even get them from?! I am so clueless about that stuff.
ReplyDeleteI hope you'll come follow me as well so we can share ideas. Yippie!!

You can get Cricuts from a ton of places including Joanns, Michaels, and even Amazon. I also have a crafting blog www.jennuinecrafts.com and I do crafting videos too. I love the fact that I can incorporate my love of crafting with teaching.
DeleteWow, I can't believe you are back at school. We only have a couple more weeks and I feel like the summer has FLOWN by. Our classroom doesn't have any air conditioning. So I can't imagine being back right now. I love my cricuit. I agree they're great for classrooms.
