ReplyDeleteI really want to make a teacher tool box. I have seen them all over the place and recently my teaching BFF made one and I know that I will be wishing I made one after seeing it in action. Haha, now I just have to brave the heat and go buy one.

I feel like my room has been missing something and it's a theme. It will be nice to have an idea of what I'm going for instead of everything just being thrown into my classroom all mismatched.

I'm torn. I'm getting a little bored and I am excited to meet my new students. I also know that I will miss my summer.
DeleteHoly guacamole, Batman! I thought 102 in Houston today was hot. It feels like a sauna here. I got my master's degree a few years ago. It's a lot of work...I felt like I was CONSTANTLY finishing one essay only to start on the next essay. But, when you're done, you'll be glad you finished. Enjoy the rest of your summer!

That's EXACTLY how I feel. I have 16 papers PER class and with 12 classes total, that's a lot of papers. Glad that other teachers are going through/have gone through the same thing.

ReplyDeleteI'm in the same boat as you, I'm going to be starting my 6th year of teaching 3rd grade and I've never had a theme either! This year I think I'm going to do black and white with bright patterns like chevron and polka dots. Not sure exactly how that's gonna work but we'll see! And then thinking about that makes me desperately want to give my blog a makeover! :)
